About Us

I was born November 10, 1942 in Schaals, Arkansas. I was raised and educated in Kansas City, Mo. I Graduated from Central High School in 1960, served four years in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. While in the military, I spent four years on active duty, two years in Germany , eighteen months in Austin Texas and the remainder of the time was spent in Basic Training and Military Technical School. I was released from the military in 1968 earning a Honorable Discharge. When I was released from the military, I finally had the opportunity to achieve his life long dream, going to college and getting a degree in art. I recieved an Associate Arts Degree in 1970 from Penn Vally College in Kansas City, MO and then entered the University of Missouri where in 1972, I recieved a Bachealors of Fine Art degree. I eventually moved to Menlo Park, California and discovered San Francisco and the art community. I began painting San Francisco images in 1977. I had my first one man show at the Will Stone Gallery in 1981. From there I showed his work in several San Franciso and Bay Area Galleries. My  face began to show up in several Bay Area newspapers and in Bay Area magazines. I had a feature article written about me and my paintings in San Francisco Magazine, 1982. My painting "Bay Bridge by Night" appearing twice on the cover of San Francisco Theatre Guild and my painting "Fog Under the Golden Gate" once appeared on the cover of  In Performace Magazine.  One observant noted "As you look at the paintings, one cannot help but notice that the physical structures in the paintings, the houses and buildings, assume the qualities and attributes of humans, vicariously becoming the people living in the houses or looking out the windows of the buildings, looking over the city or , in some cases, over the San Francisco Bay."  I went on to publish mys San Francisco images in a series of very popular note cards. I then began my career in Art Publishing. I have published several Limited Edition Lithographs of my San Francisco images. My Limited Editions Lithographs are all sold out but now, I'm back! Bigger and better!

The only thing that I have ever wanted to do is Art, and I'm very good at what I do. I love doing Abstract and the Visionary painting. I am in constant contact with the "Spirit World" and get lots of ideas on what direction to take in my paintings. My latest venture is in painting florals and flowers. I am extremely pleased with what I'm doing with the Water Lilies and Flowers. I love doing the hanging reflection and shadows and the play with " the effect of drizzle in the water.

I usually paint in series and when the energy from a particular body of work is on longer with me, I change and do something quite different. God has blessed me with a great talent and I very willingly share it with the world.
